Celebrating small wins: Why it matters - Texto em inglês para intermediários.

Hello, people! 👋 Leia o texto e responda as perguntas para checar sua compreensão.

For a long time, I only celebrated big goals — like graduating from college or getting a new job. But recently, I’ve learned that celebrating small wins is just as important. Small wins are the little things we achieve every day, like finishing a task, waking up early, or sticking to a new habit.

I used to feel frustrated when I didn’t see quick progress. But when I started recognizing small wins, I felt more motivated and confident. I began writing down three small wins at the end of each day — even simple things like “I drank more water” or “I focused during a meeting.”

This new habit changed my mindset. I realized that big achievements are made of many small steps. And by celebrating those steps, I stay more positive and keep going, even when things get difficult.

Now, I always encourage my friends to notice their daily progress. It’s not about being perfect — it’s about seeing how far you’ve come, little by little.
